Bonjour


Say what you will about the French, but they know how to do food and wine and restaurants.

I've gotten into the whole brasserie scene lately (and normally I'm just into bras. Hey, you've been a great audience, don't forget to tip your waiters.)

Dined this afternoon at Pigalle, on 8th.

Some onion soup, a smoked salmon sandwich, a few glasses of red. What a nice way to spend a Friday lunch.

I never get to enjoy a nice lunch during the week. but I love French Onion Soup too. So good with the melted cheese on top. Now I've made my self hungry.

I always wonder will I ever get in a job where I can enjoy lunch and not just have it something gobbling down at my desk or in a lousy diner.

Sadly, I don't think I will ever have a job that I get to go out for those power lunches. Nurses hardly ever get to eat a full lunch in one sitting as it is.
