I have to admit, I've never really thought of Portland, Ore., as a vacation destination, but this actually seems like it might be sort of fun for a long weekend getaway of grazing and imbibing.

I'm there except for the rain part. Why can't it be tropical there.
limegreen - tropical's good for fruity cocktails. Oregon beer, however, tastes best when you're ducking in from the rain.
Portland's a fantastic city, incidentally. There's definitely enough to interest even the most jaded of urbanites, and we have good beer. And lots of it!
